BACKGROUND
From railroads and Tesla to building physical products.

I'm a 32-year-old builder with a non-traditional path. I spent 4.5 years as a Class 1 Railroad Conductor, worked at Tesla during the early Model X era, and was an Apple Expert before that. I later ran a successful single-truck hotshot operation (Old Ironsides Transport) hauling for manufacturers.

After a serious accident in March 2026, I stepped away from trucking and took a role at Wahoo Docks while figuring out my next move. I'm now focused on getting back into work that matches my actual skill set — additive manufacturing, CNC, product development, and hardware projects.

Outside the day job, I'm actively building real products: a limited-run titanium hardware brand (Block Zero) and a hyperlocal farm-stand platform (Nearstead).

Operated a single-truck hotshot business with 40ft flatbed. Hauled consistent short-haul loads for Wahoo Docks (aluminum floating docks) and other customers. Managed all operations, compliance, and customer documentation.

Operated trains under rigorous safety and regulatory protocols. Extensive training in heavy equipment movement, signaling, and risk management.
